EXTERIOR NEAR COMPLETION – LAKESIDE NET ZERO, LEED PLATINUM HOUSE

The exterior shell is almost complete. Our PHIUS certified Alpen windows are being installed. These windows are set at the mid-point of our 14” thick wall. A great deal of attention to detail is needed to ensure the windows are flashed correctly and are airtight. Although the roof is not complete, the attic is actually a third unconditioned floor that has been sealed to create an air barrier making the house almost completely sealed up.
